The song features guest vocals from Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, and the music is taken from Jamie xx's remix of Gil Scott-Heron's version of "I'll Take Care of You". Upon the release of the album, "Take Care" debuted at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart due to strong digital download sales of over 162,000 copies. It will impact U.S. Top 40/Mainstream and Rhythmic radio on February 21, 2012 as the album's official fourth single
